White Hokkaido

Lake Toya, Japan’s 3rd largest volcanic caldera lake. This ice-free lake never freezes, even in winter when the temperature falls quite drastically. Take a ropeway up Mt. Usuzan for a scenic view of the active volcano rising from the valley. Panoramic views of Lake Toya and Mt. Showa Shinzan can be viewed from Usuzan. Jigokudani (Hell Valley) columns of hot water and steam belching from small crevices, resembling hell. Noboribetsu Onsen Best known for its onsen in Hokkaido.

Hakodate is Hokkaido's third largest city, located at the island's southernmost tip. As one of the first three ports in Japan to be opened for foreign trade in 1859, Hakodate experienced contact with various foreign cultures. Stroll along the Old Port Store Street, also known as Red Brick Warehouse. Then, a quick visit to the Motomachi Roman Catholic Church and the white Russian Orthodox Church. Mt. Hakodate (ropeway) - Enjoy the stunningly beautiful night view of Hakodate city. It is voted as one of the world's most magnificent night views. Otaru is a small harbour city located northwest of Sapporo City. Otaru Canal - A picturesque century old stone warehouses along the nostalgic canal. Otaru Handicraft Street - Renowned for its glass handicrafts, music box museum, art gallery, icecream & dessert shops. A perfect place for a stroll, souvenir shopping and to satisfy your sweet tooth! Visit the Sapporo's landmarks - Hokkaido's Former Government Building and drive pass Clock House. Odori Park – venue for Sapporo Snow Festival & seasonal events, Sapporo TV's Tower. Have fun shopping at Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade.
